Cribl is seeking a FedRAMP ISSO to own and drive our FedRAMP Moderate authorization across the cloud. You will lead SSP development, continuous monitoring, and POA&M lifecycle, partnering with engineering, product, legal, and federal customers to keep our authorization healthy and customers confident.

As a remote-first company, you’ll collaborate across time zones and drive automation, AI-assisted workflows, and secure, scalable compliance operations in a fast-moving federal landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years information security with FedRAMP ISSO ownership.
• Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and FedRAMP baseline.
• Proven SSP authoring and maintenance experience.
• Hands-on POA&M management from finding to closure.
• Experience running continuous monitoring and 3PAO coordination.
• Automation/AI tooling to improve compliance ops.
• Fluent collaboration with engineers and auditors.
• AWS GovCloud experience preferred; Azure/GCP also valued.
• Active security certifications (CISSP/CAP/CGRC/CISM).

Responsibilities

• Own the FedRAMP program end-to-end as the single accountable leader.
• Maintain the System Security Plan with accurate architecture and controls.
• Drive POA&M management from findings to closure.
• Lead monthly ConMon reporting and 3PAO coordination.
• Identify opportunities to automate evidence collection and reporting.
• Run annual 3PAO assessments and gather auditor inquiries with clarity.
• Assess security impact of changes ensuring no unreviewed gaps.
• Serve as the primary federal point of contact with AOs and PMO.
• Collaborate with engineering/DevOps on control implementation.
• Coordinate incident response per FedRAMP requirements.
• Translate evolving guidance (NIST FedRAMP, AI RMF) into actionable direction.
