Job summary

Cribl is seeking a FedRAMP ISSO to own and drive the security posture for our FedRAMP Moderate cloud environment. You will lead the SSP, continuous monitoring, and POA&M lifecycle, partnering with engineering, product, legal, and agency customers to keep our authorization healthy and customers confident.

You’ll shape automation-driven compliance, streamline evidence collection, and accelerate reporting while communicating clearly with federal auditors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience with a dedicated FedRAMP ISSO/ISSE role
• Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and FedRAMP baselines
• Proven experience authoring and maintaining large System Security Plans (SSP)
• Hands-on POA&M management from finding to closure
• Experience running continuous monitoring programs and coordinating 3PAO assessments
• Ability to use automation, scripting or AI tools to improve compliance operations
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS GovCloud preferred) and strong written communication

Responsibilities

• Own the FedRAMP program end-to-end as the single accountable leader
• Maintain and defend the SSP reflecting architecture and control implementations
• Drive POA&M management from findings to closure with engineering coordination
• Lead monthly ConMon reporting and annual 3PAO assessment coordination
• Identify opportunities to automate evidence collection and streamline reporting
• Coordinate security incident response per FedRAMP requirements
• Collaborate with engineering/DevOps on security control implementation and remediation
• Translate evolving federal guidance into actionable team direction
