Job summary

NCC Group (US) is seeking a Managing Security Consultant / Senior Assessor to lead Federal cybersecurity assessment engagements and advisory services within the 3PAO practice. You will guide assessment teams, ensure quality, and drive client success in a regulated environment.

The role requires extensive FedRAMP experience, NIST controls knowledge, and strong leadership. Location is Alpharetta or other major US federal sites, with opportunities for strategic growth and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in information security, cybersecurity consulting, auditing and risk management.
• Experience with FedRAMP assessments and advisory services.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary security assessment engagements.
• Strong leadership and client relationship management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Assessor for FedRAMP authorization and continuous monitoring assessments.
• Lead assessment teams evaluating cloud service providers against FedRAMP and NIST requirements.
• Conduct independent evaluation of security controls, cloud architectures, risks and processes.
• Review assessment methodologies and reports for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure activities comply with FedRAMP, 3PAO and quality requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior assessors and contribute to practice maturity.
