Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• CPA is preferred or in process.
• 3+ years of tax experience in consumer products industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations in consumer products.
• Ensure compliance and timely filing; maintain tax records and documentation.
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to consumer products clients.
• Identify and implement tax-saving strategies.
• Research complex tax issues and develop solutions to minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits.
• Understand clients’ business operations to provide tailored tax advice.
• Communicate updates on tax issues and potential impacts to clients.
• Stay current with tax laws affecting consumer products industry.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain proficiency.
• Contribute to best practices within the tax department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax services.
