Job summary

Pennoni is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-discipline civil engineering projects in our Federal Programs team in Leesburg, VA. This full-time role involves coordinating design tasks for AE, IDIQ, and Design-Build pursuits with federal agencies while mentoring engineers and managing schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years of federal project experience, a PE license or in-process, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of professional experience (Federal design projects preferred)
• US Citizenship required for this position

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Engineers & technical staff.
• Lead and manage complex engineering tasks & Federal Government projects.
• Monitor schedules & budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Develop project schedules and cost budgets; analyze financial data to set targets.
• Coordinate with Project Accounting to monitor cost & billings and prepare recovery plans.
