Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, data governance, legal studies, finance, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years of data privacy, financial compliance, or information assurance experience.
• Privacy/security certifications (e.g., CIPP/G, CIPM, CIPT, Security+ CE).
• Experience leading PIAs and managing PII inventories in federal/DoD environments.
• Hands-on experience with data discovery, compliance management, or workflow tracking tools.
• Familiarity with federal privacy regs, NIST privacy frameworks, RMF, and privacy risk mgmt policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy and data compliance postures for federal info systems, especially DoD.
• Conduct PIAs for federal systems and coordinate SORN review.
• Work with PMs, ISSMs/ISSOs, and engineers to map data flows and PII types.
• Navigate DoD privacy office reviews and approvals with senior officials.
• Provide guidance on PII governance and policy development.
• Ensure contractor-touching systems comply with DoD/DoW guidance.
