Dark Wolf is seeking a Data Privacy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead privacy and data compliance initiatives for federal information systems. You will focus on PIAs, PII governance, and policy development, collaborating with program managers, ISSMs/ISSOs, and engineers to ensure DoD-aligned controls and risk management.

You will navigate DoD privacy workflows, coordinate with senior privacy leadership, and translate complex privacy topics into executive-ready briefings for clients.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field as listed.
• 7+ years of privacy, compliance, or information assurance experience.
• One or more privacy/security certifications (e.g., IAPP, CIPM, CAP, Security+).
• Experience handling PIAs, managing PII inventories, or acting as Privacy Analyst/Compliance Officer in federal/DoD.
• Hands-on data discovery, compliance management, or workflow tracking tools.
• Familiarity with federal privacy regulations, NIST privacy frameworks, RMF, and risk management.
• Ability to communicate complex privacy topics to non-technical audiences.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Privacy Act, SORN, DoD/DoN/DoA guidance, RMF, and RMF ATO processes.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and maintenance of privacy and data compliance postures for federal IT systems.
• Conduct PIAs for federal systems and coordinate with SORNs and adjudication processes.
• Collaborate with program managers, ISSMs/ISSOs, and engineers to map data flows and identify PII.
• Coordinate with DoD privacy offices and senior privacy officials on review workflows.
• Provide guidance on PII governance and policy alignment with clients.
• Apply privacy expertise to contractor-touching systems for DoD/DoW compliance.
