Silverthorne Advisory Group is seeking a Senior Financial Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data solutions for a federal client. You will work with DoD financial systems to improve data quality, reconciliation, and decision-making within secure environments.

Ideal candidates bring 3–10 years of directly related experience, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and an active Secret Clearance. Proficiency with Python, SQL, WDP/Advana, Foundry, and Databricks is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of directly related experience.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience in DoD financial data or financial management preferred.
• Strong data engineering capabilities and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for DoD financial management and reconciliation.
• Evaluate and structure diverse financial datasets from multiple DoD sources.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define and implement data requirements.
• Engineer backend data solutions and manipulate large datasets with Python and SQL.
• Automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Apply data governance principles and ensure security controls throughout the data lifecycle.
