Job summary

Bodwé Technology Services seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to support federal construction and facility engineering projects at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

This role requires managing project execution from planning through closeout, ensuring contract compliance, and providing day-to-day leadership across sites while coordinating with government stakeholders. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• PMP or other project management certification preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of federal construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects valued at $50M or greater.
• Ability to obtain Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-level support to the COR for assigned construction and facility engineering projects.
• Manage day-to-day execution of individual projects including scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
• Review construction documents, submittals, drawings, and specifications for contract compliance.
• Identify and resolve field conditions and construction issues as they arise.
• Support design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Assist with preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Support acquisition activities including site visits, contractor coordination, and technical clarifications.
• Draft technical input for change orders and contract modifications.
• Track contractor performance against established cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Support project reporting and status updates to Government stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and facility personnel to ensure project execution.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
