Job summary

CCI Facility Support Services, LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our growing team at the Scott AFB, IL location. The ideal candidate will lead multi-project maintenance, oversee staff and subcontractors, and coordinate nationwide estimating and reporting with executives.

You will manage preventive and predictive maintenance, ensure safety and compliance with FAR, control budgets, and build strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), service call and/or facility maintenance environment
• HS Diploma or GED
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues relating to facility maintenance
• Federal experience a plus
• Strong customer service ability

Responsibilities

• Self-perform facility maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance of HVAC equipment, replacing lighting, ceiling tiles, and other similar maintenance activities
• Procurement of subcontractors, coordination, organization, and supervision of maintenance activities to ensure on-time delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and upholding high-quality standards and safety regulations
• This is an on call 24/7/365 role with a federal government installation and response and coordination is required
• All contract deliverables must be met, and all activities must be performed in accordance with FAR
• Analyze project RFPs and plans, collaborating with executives to define project objectives effectively
• Efficiently oversee labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors within the allocated time and budget
• Foster strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, field staff, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage the evaluation and acquisition of subcontracts, labor, materials, and equipment
• Supervise the project closely to promptly address out-of-scope work requests, unforeseen conditions, and time impacts
• Work closely with subcontractors and clients to develop and revise project schedules
• Perform quality control and safety management, surveillance, inspections, site safety orientation, activity-specific training, and enforcement
• Develop and scrutinize project budgets and cost estimates meticulously
• Manage and approve subcontractor invoices
• Review and execution of subcontracts and Purchase Orders
• Manage project from proposal stage through closeout
• Handle any issues that arise resulting from unforeseen conditions
• Effectively manage and build teamwork within the project execution team
• Manage subcontractors through project completion
• Direct project activities to ensure conformance to project budget, plans, specs, and schedule
• Track the financial performance of projects
• Prepare project reports for management and clients
