Responsibilities

• Serve as a nationally recognized contracting authority and agency spokesperson.
• Provide authoritative advice on contract methods to improve operations.
• Prepare responses to FOIA requests, congressional inquiries, and GAO audits.
• Conduct high-level analysis of contracting matters and monitor compliance with statutes and policies.
• Develop staff development plans and ensure contracting certifications are met.
• Supervise staff and perform contracting services for large, complex contracts.
