Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead complex federal building projects across Eastern Washington and Idaho. This field-leadership role requires directing project teams, ensuring safety, quality, and timely closings, from mobilization through turnover.

You will manage master schedules, coordinate subcontractors and inspectors, and maintain rigorous federal documentation while partnering with management to deliver on ambitious backlog and large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of federal/government construction experience.
• Strong field leadership and ability to manage project teams, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and federal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for large federal construction projects.
• Develop and manage short-term and master schedules, site logistics, manpower, equipment, materials, and daily production.
• Coordinate self-perform crews, subcontractors, owners, inspectors, design teams, and government representatives.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with contracts and federal requirements.
• Lead site safety, quality-control, and environmental-compliance efforts with accurate records and reporting.
• Anticipate field challenges, resolve conflicts, and communicate risks and solutions proactively.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change documentation, inspections, punch lists, commissioning support, and project closeout.
• Lead, mentor, and hold field teams accountable while supporting a collaborative culture.
• Partner with project management, estimating, accounting, and executive leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use construction technology to manage schedules, documentation, communication, and field reporting.
