Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Representative to oversee construction phases at Dobbins ARC, GA. The role emphasizes compliance with schedules, specs, shop drawings, and safety standards in a federal environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting work, preparing reports, analyzing submittals, coordinating RFIs/REAs, and supporting contract modifications. US citizenship and a federal background/drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and pass federal background and drug screen.
• Experience on large federal projects preferred.
• Knowledge of DoD/USACE processes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes and investigates construction phases for compliance with schedules, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports in RMS with comments on progress, safety, and subcontractors.
• Assists in contract modification processes and preparation of scopes of work for RFPs.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval actions, including safety and quality programs.
• Prepares correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs, and REAs.
• Prepares partial and final payment estimates and verifies materials on hand.
• Monitors progress and notifies project team of potential delays.
• Coordinates RFI/submittal reviews with designers and technical experts.
• Logs and maintains data to aid project management.
