Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Representative for the Dobbins Army Reserve Center project in Georgia.

The role requires overseeing construction phases, ensuring adherence to schedules, specs, and shop drawings, and coordinating with the government team on modifications and approvals. You will perform inspections, prepare daily RMS reports, and assist with contract modifications, scopes of work, and government estimates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is the minimum education requirement, construction-related degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience on large complex federal construction projects.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 and three-phase inspection processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD/USACE safety standards (OSHA EM 385-1-1) is advantageous.
• Experience with reinforced concrete foundations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Observes and investigates construction phases for compliance with schedules and drawings; identifies problems and contract modification needs.
• Performs inspections and prepares daily RMS site reports including progress, safety, and subcontractor manpower.
• Assists in contract modification processes and in preparation of scopes of work, government estimates, and contract modification documentation.
• Reviews contractor plans/submittals for approval, including schedules, safety and quality programs.
• Prepares correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, RFIs and other technical issues.
• Prepares partial and final payment estimates, verifies materials and percent complete.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays; participates in RFI/submittal reviews.
• Logs and maintains data to aid project management and decision making.
