Job summary

J.R. & Co. is seeking a Senior Construction Federal Project Manager to lead commercial roofing and building envelope projects on federal facilities.

You will own projects from award through closeout, manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, and budgets, and collaborate with superintendents and field crews. Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
• USACE CQM-C certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1, UFGS, and FAR/DFARS
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling
• Experience with RMS or similar federal PM systems
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, solicitations, and contracts
• Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance
• Leads by example and upholds JR&CO values

Responsibilities

• Lead contract and subcontract reviews; ensure permits, insurance certificates, and bonds issued promptly after award
• Develop and submit project planning documents including APP, Quality Control Plan, site staging, waste, and SB subcontracting plans
• Lead Pre-Construction, Progress, and After-Action meetings with contracting officer, prime contractor, and field team
• Prepare Schedule of Values; oversee billings and Davis-Bacon payroll; monitor costs and forecasts
• Manage subcontractors, architects, and suppliers as project scope requires
• Manage submittal register, change orders, and RFIs; RFIs submitted within 48 hours of notice
• Coordinate with Superintendent to monitor schedules and respond to clients and stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects through closeout including warranty documents
