Job summary

The candidate must be a US citizen, able to pass a federal background check and drug screen, with a minimum 7 years of relevant federal project experience. RMS 3.0 familiarity and OSHA EM 385-1-1 knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED minimum; Construction related degree, preferred
• Experience in construction contract administration and inspection on large federal projects is preferred
• Experience with OSHA and EM 385-1-1 is preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction phases for compliance with plans and specs to government personnel
• Supports investigation and preparation of change orders
• Develops detailed inspection requirements and control methods
• Observes construction phases for compliance with schedules and shop drawings; identifies problems and recommends changes
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress, safety, and manpower details
• Assists in contract modification processes
• Reviews contractor plans/ submittals for approval, including safety and quality programs
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays
• Performs other duties as assigned
