Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to CBP in matters across ports of entry and CBP portfolio.
• Perform legal research applying laws, regulations, and guidance in CBP contexts.
• Represent CBP in administrative hearings before EEOC, MSPB, FLRA, ALJs, and arbitrators.
• Support DOJ as agency counsel in civil/criminal actions and prepare litigation documents.
• Develop and deliver legal training to CBP managers and employees on relevant issues.
