Colliers Engineering & Design in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead an architectural practice within our firm. The role focuses on the conceptual design and full support through all design phases, with emphasis on federal projects and front-end BD activities.

The ideal candidate has a professional architecture degree, licensure, 8+ years of experience, and strong REVIT/AutoCAD Architecture skills. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of related architecture experience; licensure required.
• Experience with federal market projects and common delivery methods such as Design/Bid/Build or Design/Build.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops medium-to-large projects with many complexities under minimal supervision.
• Coordinates with the Federal Buildings Initiative Team on business development activities.
• Coordinates project teams through all design phases.
• Interprets, organizes, and executes assignments.
• Leads technical coordination of project drawings with internal team members and subconsultants.
• Mentors junior staff and promotes best practices.
