Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a Finance & Accounting Outsourcing Senior Associate in Houston, TX. You will perform daily accounting tasks, assist with month‑end close, and prepare financial reports for multiple middle‑market clients, delivering accurate results with strong attention to detail.

You will use ERP systems and Excel to support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities for multiple client engagements, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and management reporting packages.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with established processes and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other client accounting projects as needed.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Leverage accounting systems and technology to support efficient service delivery.
• Manage multiple client priorities while delivering high‑quality client service.
