Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist - Manufacturing Process to drive factory design programmes from concept through commissioning and operational readiness. You will manage integrated schedules, layout coordination, change requests, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing program management, with expertise in factory layouts, equipment integration, and project governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of technical project or program management experience in manufacturing, factory design, industrial engineering, or construction.
• Understanding of factory layouts, equipment integration, material flow, and infrastructure requirements.
• Experience with MaintainX, Quickbase, or similar change management and ticketing systems.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and progress reporting.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC, and Bluebeam.
• Strong technical coordination, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee factory design projects from concept through engineering reviews, construction readiness, and final implementation.
• Establish integrated project schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverable commitments.
• Coordinate with Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Construction, EHS, and Operations to define scopes and requirements.
• Own the end-to-end change request process in MaintainX or Quickbase, including scope, approvals, and closure.
• Coordinate factory master layout updates and equipment placement reviews to align with manufacturing needs.
• Identify and drive cross-functional decisions to support successful project delivery and manage risks.
• Maintain dashboards, milestone trackers, and progress logs for status communication.
• Standardize design review, approval, and documentation workflows with construction schedules.
