Job summary

FuelCell Energy is seeking a Senior Facility Technician for the third shift at our Torrington, CT facility. You will serve as a senior technical resource for daily operations, equipment reliability, and long-term facilities performance, performing complex preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; related Electro-Mechanical training preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance.
• Lead technician or senior team member experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems and facility assets.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems.
• Document predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities and maintain records.
• Mentor and train facility technicians and contractors for safe, effective work practices.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine repairs needed.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, EH&S and vendors to complete repairs and improvements.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance reliability, efficiency, safety, and maintenance processes.
