Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• 6 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures; observes and documents signs of wear and tear; gathers capital expense information; recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
• Determines replacement needs; documents preventive maintenance activities; uses heavy machinery; provides on-site training sessions; leads and participates in teams on assigned work sites.
