M.C. Dean in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Facility Engineering Manager to lead a high-volume portfolio of projects across commercial and government facilities.

You will oversee scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience, with the ability to manage 20–40 concurrent projects, coordinate vendors and stakeholders, and create cost estimates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience managing 20–40 concurrent projects in occupied facilities.
• Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and documentation.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and routine reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and site access to maintain schedule and quality.
• Monitor costs and provide financial reporting and forecasts.
• Identify risks and communicate status to management.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
• Create cost estimates and project proposals using applicable rates.
• Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools; track progress.
• Maintain portfolio ownership across all lifecycle stages.
