Under the U.S. Army INSCOM GILE program, Team V2X provides engineering, facilities, sustainment, and maintenance of intelligence systems, including new technology integration, portal management, hardware design, network management, and logistics support. We enable INSCOM's mission to anticipate requirements and employ innovative techniques to support Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities worldwide. Our team is committed to enhancing readiness across multiple locations.

This position is contingent upon contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior facilities engineer responsible for designing, reviewing, and planning installation master plans for worldwide contract-supported units, specializing in design and drafting (CADD).
  • Investigate and determine facility requirements for relocations, realignments, transfers, and equipment installations, providing cost estimates and documentation support.
  • Provide technical advice to Government engineers and military construction planners on infrastructure, space, utility, and structural requirements.
  • Review reports, master plans, and facility requests to identify deficiencies and provide comments for construction, renovation, and redesign efforts.
  • Review engineering design proposals for adequacy and suitability.
  • Manage space tracking software, estimate future facility needs, and review space requests and layouts, offering recommendations.
  • Support MILCON project data submissions, review technical documentation, and analyze program impacts.
  • Evaluate facility and space management processes, identify deficiencies, and develop data collection solutions.
  • Prepare technical plans for stationing and realignment of INSCOM units worldwide, following Army policies.
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, construction, and operation of facilities and infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective and reliable support.
  • Deploy worldwide in potentially hazardous environments for quick response and technical support.
  • Coordinate with military planning staff to develop comprehensive relocation and realignment plans.
  • Apply military and engineering knowledge to develop program management plans using Microsoft Project.
Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with ten years of experience and familiarity with military missions.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance and eligibility for SCI access; some roles may require a CI Scope Polygraph.

Experience / Skills:

  • Military construction planning, programming, and familiarity with Army PAX system.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
  • Experience translating user requirements into facility specifications.
  • Knowledge of military construction standards, Corps of Engineers specifications, and SCIF requirements.
  • Understanding of the Army's master planning and space management regulations.
  • Experience managing large facility engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of military relocation processes and EPA Air Conditioning Law.
  • Fluent English skills, including technical reading and writing.
