Job summary

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is seeking a general maintenance technician to perform building repairs, HVAC, and plumbing tasks at our Steamboat Springs, CO location. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

Proficiency with electrical and repair tools is preferred, and duties include preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep. Daily duties include safe operation of equipment, timely repairs, and coordination with the supervisor for parts

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Three (3) years actual experience with general building repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge concepts of materials, equipment, and tools used in facilities maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• General building repair and maintenance, drywall, painting, HVAC, appliances, plumbing.
• Maintain safe working environment and safety procedures.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Inspect and maintain building interiors and exteriors.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical testers, and related equipment.
• Purchase parts as needed per policy.
• Maintain food & beverage equipment including refrigeration and propane appliances.
