Job summary

Wonder is hiring a Senior Facilities Technician in Swedesboro, NJ to oversee daily operations, lead maintenance tasks, and support safe, efficient building performance.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, supervise technicians, manage vendors, and coordinate with internal stakeholders. The role requires hands-on experience and a drive to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on facilities maintenance, incl. repair and preventive maintenance of commercial equipment.
• Leadership experience in supervising technicians.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic plumbing and carpentry knowledge.
• 6+ months experience using smartphones and tablets for work tasks.
• Strong communication with vendors, employees, and leadership.
• Ability to multitask and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
• Supervise and support staff technicians and delegate daily maintenance assignments
• Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling, site access, quality control, and invoice review
• Serve as the point of contact for senior management, reporting site issues, updates, and progress on key initiatives
• Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance across all facility systems including, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Inspect, clean, and service equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure, and document completed maintenance activities, deficiencies, and required follow-up repairs
• Perform routine monitoring, maintenance, and proper installation of culinary and commercial kitchen equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation
• Perform general facility upkeep (e.g., painting, lighting, minor remodeling, etc.)
• Maintain clean and safe working environments both indoors and outdoors (excluding snow removal)
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Support training initiatives
• Complete other duties as assigned
