Job summary

The Sound is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician in Coppell, TX to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming properties. This role blends housekeeping and basic maintenance to support residents and operations across our properties.

You will perform cleaning of common areas, assist with move-ins, handle basic repairs, and respond to resident requests while upholding our high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemical storage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with residents and management.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks (light bulb replacement, minor plumbing).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to wear a company uniform.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and amenity spaces to a pristine standard.
• Assist with move-ins by ensuring units are clean and prepared.
• Maintain amenity areas and perform dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
• Dispose of trash and recycling promptly.
• Perform basic maintenance like changing light bulbs and minor repairs.
• Keep grounds and parking areas in good condition.
• Respond to resident requests and report safety concerns to management.
• Manage inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure storerooms meet safety standards.
• Learn and maintain pool systems according to company standards.
• Report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
