Job summary

FULLBEAUTY Brands is seeking a Sr. Facilities Technician to perform installation, maintenance and repair of distributed equipment and building systems at our Indianapolis and Plainfield facilities.

You will read electrical schematics, enter work in CMMS daily, and troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, and a range of machinery including conveyors, cranes, HVAC, pumps and lighting systems. The role requires seven years of industrial maintenance experience and physical stamina, with potential weekend

• Ability to perform electrical/mechanical repairs in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting with PLCs.
• Motor control experience required.
• Seven years as a technician in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of distribution equipment and building systems.
• Enter time, turnover items and repair comments in CMMS daily.
• Replace lighting ballasts, fuses and perform plumbing tasks as needed.
• Work with conveyors, cranes, HVAC, pumps and other industrial equipment.
• Possess physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the following systems: conveyor/extendo systems, overhead crane, compressors, packaging machines, energy management systems, HVAC, fire system, shoe sorter/tower, tilt tray systems, cross belt sorter, printer, labelers, scanners, PC terminals, scales, forklift trucks, other powered equipment and any other current or future maintenance or building services system not listed. If unskilled, may be required to train on these systems.
• Uses the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) on a daily basis to enter time spent on projects/repairs, communicate turnover items to supervisors and other shifts and to enter repair comments
• Replace lighting ballasts and fuses; resetting overloads
• Perform general plumbing duties such as piping and threading; troubleshoot and repair water heaters and repair/replace pumps.
• Perform general carpentry, interior/exterior painting and hanging drywall, replacing carpet.
• General outdoor duties on company property and grounds as required
• Must be able work extra hours and weekends when scheduled by the supervisor, and accept temporary transfers between the Indianapolis and Plainfield facilities
• The work is physical in nature and requires heavy lifting, bending, reaching, push/pull movements and exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Other duties as assigned that support the business and its efficient and safe operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have the ability to perform mechanical and preventive maintenance on all distribution equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams and blue prints.
• Seven years as a technician performing electrical/mechanical repairs in an industrial environment.
• Strong Electrical with the ability to troubleshoot with PLCs.
• Strong motor control experience required.
• Must pass an assessment for Sr. Facilities Technician
