Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or vocational plumbing training preferred.
• Valid plumbing license required; 5+ years of plumbing experience with facilities maintenance emphasized.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability of plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with facilities maintenance team to support campus operations.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and building codes; respond to emergencies promptly.
• Utilize hand and power tools and specialized plumbing equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.
