Job summary

Ichor Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead planning, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure for a high-volume manufacturing environment in north Austin.

The role focuses on safe, reliable operation of HVAC, water, gas delivery, electrical and waste systems in a semiconductor setting. Responsibilities include managing a small team and 3rd party contractors, supporting 24/7 operations, and coordinating with property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction or adjacent fields preferred.
• 10 years’ work experience highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems.
• Experience in semiconductor industry with cleanrooms highly preferred.
• Experience with cabling networks ideal.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; AutoCAD preferred.
• Management experience.
• Experience with PM programs and CMMS.
• Hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, operation, maintenance and improvement of facility infrastructure.
• Maintain building systems across 3 locations within north Austin.
• Oversee HVAC, water, bulk gas, electrical, waste and related systems.
• Utilize help desk system for on-demand work orders.
• Manage personnel moves and 3rd party contractors.
• Support 24/7 operations and on-call coverage.
• Support events setup and takedown; interface with property management.
• Attend safety committee meetings and address safety issues with urgency.
