Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEmbark on a Transformative Role:

As the Senior Facilities Manager for Cold Storage Operations, your meticulous oversight will ensure seamless operations within expansive refrigerated storage areas, ranging over 400,000 square feet. From a fleet of material handling equipment to complex automation systems, your expertise will sustain and elevate our facility's operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Engineering & Maintenance team, setting clear performance targets and tracking their achievements.
  • Craft and maintain a cost-effective annual maintenance budget, analyzing and initiating financial actions to meet goals.
  • Lead efforts to define work priorities for effective management, maintenance, and installations.
  • Engage in preventive maintenance strategies through in-depth analysis of production and maintenance statistics.
  • Guarantee safety compliance with OSHA and other designated codes, keeping the facility in top operational condition.
  • Ensure the readiness and reliability of all machinery with rigorous ongoing analysis.
  • Collaborate with General Managers on budget planning, facility upgrade initiatives, and long-term financial objectives.
  • Cultivate an environment that prioritizes personal and professional growth via well-structured Individual Development Plans (IDP’s).

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High School diploma or GED and further qualifications in facility maintenance are ideal.
  • Distinct supervisory experience within the maintenance domain over at least 3 years.
  • Preference for candidates with certifications like CMRP.

Expert Skill Set:

  • Effective management of large teams and understanding of technical operations.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication capabilities to manage internal and external partnerships.
  • Proven strategic and analytical skills to drive productivity improvements.
  • Understanding of compliance, safety, and quality standards in an industrial context.
