Job summary

Walmart is expanding its facilities team in Jackson, CA and seeks a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team. You will maintain and repair facilities, work across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment, and use hand and power tools to complete jobs.

The role requires a valid driver's license, an MVR check, and several years in trades, plus ability to lift 75 lbs and work at heights. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with clean MVR.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in trades, or 7 years' experience in trades.
• 1 year experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Can lift up to 75 lbs.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and tools.
• Use the work order system to manage repair work orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
