Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Clarksville, IN. The role supports Walmart facilities with maintenance tasks across multiple trades, using hand and power tools to repair equipment and fixtures.

The candidate will respond to emergencies, document work orders, and ensure safety through required training. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and 5–7 years of trades experience or certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trades, or 7 years' experience in these trades.
• 1 year experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
