Job summary

Walmart in Martinsville, IN is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our fast-paced team. You will perform multi-trade maintenance, repair facilities and assets, and respond to urgent maintenance needs in a high-volume retail environment.

The role requires a state driver’s license with a clean MVR, a vocational/technical certification (or equivalent experience), and 5–7 years in trades such as plumbing or electrical. Competitive benefits and training are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Vocational or Technical certification with 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, or related trades, or 7 years' experience.
• 1 year experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repairs.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
