Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Martinsville, IN. The role focuses on routine maintenance, safety, and aesthetics of Walmart facilities, equipment, and fixtures.

You will work under the General Maintenance Manager on established schedules, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs. Qualifications include 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years in plumbing, electrical, or related trades.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment).
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
