Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Facilities to lead strategy, operations, and reliability of its manufacturing and support facilities across the United States. You’ll partner with Design Engineering, Construction, Operations, and EHS to commission new sites, supervise maintenance of HVAC, utilities, and infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement.

Travel up to 30% is expected, and you will mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in facilities, plant engineering, commissioning, maintenance, or related operations support.
• Experience leading facilities operations in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on safety, compliance, and reliability.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, turnover, or operational readiness for building systems or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to review and manage handover documentation from construction and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of Facilities to support safety, uptime, compliance, and site readiness.
• Oversee maintenance and operation of building systems, utilities, and infrastructure including HVAC and lighting.
• Build and mentor a high-performing facilities team and manage contractors and escalated issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve response time, asset reliability, service quality, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Manage facility-related capital and expense projects from scope to turnover.
