Job summary

Honda is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer to lead and communicate an operational plan for completing projects in a high‑reliability facilities setting. You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of utility and facility projects.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/electrical infrastructure, risk assessment, and preventive maintenance, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, OR 6+ years of relevant technical experience.
• 6–10 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage mission critical utility infrastructure reliability, capacity, and safety.
• Develop tracking/reporting to communicate consumption and trends.
• Plan and execute utility outage activities with customer communication.
• Manage design, scope, fabrication, and installation of projects with contractors.
• Monitor budgets and ensure on-time delivery within scope.
