Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an experienced facilities engineer to support installation, troubleshooting, and project construction for site locations in Wilmington, MA. The role leads design and development of mechanical and electrical systems, oversees planning, scheduling, and budgets, and mentors junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, BMS/PLC programming, AutoCAD MEP, and safety standards to drive sustainable facility improvements.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in facilities or construction mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proficiency reading schematics (mechanical/electrical) and P&IDs.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Office suite.
• Experience with building management systems and PLCs.
• Strong documentation, safety, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical/electrical systems for facilities projects.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resources to meet specs and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintenance technicians.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and design schematics.
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and evaluate system performance.
• Lead root-cause discussions with manufacturing stakeholders.
• Promote safe practices and sustainability in operations.
