University of California, UCLA Health is seeking a housekeeping professional to perform cleaning and sanitation duties in patient-facing facilities. You will follow prescribed safety practices, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain storage and waste procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when working with and directing coworkers.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues while delivering a high level of customer service and teamwork.
• Proficiency in operating a variety of housekeeping equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, auto scrubbers, and pressure or steam cleaning equipment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate clearly in English.
• Proven ability to take initiative and follow tasks through to completion.
• Ability to work efficiently within defined time constraints.
• Strong listening, verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, and wax floors.
• Wash walls, doors, windows, light fixtures; discard trash in waste bins.
• Clean, sanitize and reline trash containers and linen hampers.
• Store housekeeping equipment properly and report equipment malfunctions.
