ECS Group of Companies in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Facilities Assessment Principal to lead our Southeast Building Science & Infrastructure projects. You will act as a senior technical expert on PCA, FCA, capital planning, and building system evaluations while guiding clients and multidisciplinary teams toward data-driven asset-management strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB).
• 12+ years of facilities assessments, PCA/FCA, capital planning, or related consulting.
• Licensed: PE or RA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee PCA/FCA, and pre/post-construction surveys.
• Develop and review capital reserve models and long-term asset planning.
• Evaluate Facility Condition Index (FCI) and provide strategic recommendations.
• Direct field investigations and data collection to ensure quality.
• Mentor junior staff and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage client relationships and lead proposal development.
