Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks a Mid-Level Facilitator to support senior executives and large program teams with facilitation, operations and program management. The role involves coordinating events, guiding meetings, and ensuring alignment with program requirements while engaging stakeholders and external partners.

Strong communication and active listening are essential, with ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, or related field is desired.
• An Associate’s degree plus four years of related experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s.
• Seven years of relevant experience is desired.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operations and program management support to executives and program teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and support key industry events and logistics.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and group activities to support program objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and engage participants in a productive environment.
• Support change and transformation initiatives for large programs.
• Coordinate responses to technical specifications and guidance documents.
