Job summary

CMC is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee, coach, and develop a team of production operators in our Las Vegas facility. You will drive daily production, ensure quality and safety, and manage training programs to meet customer specifications.

High School Diploma or GED required, with 5+ years in a large-scale rebar/steel environment preferred. You will partner with the Safety Manager to maintain safe operations, coordinate interviews, and manage performance reviews while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a large rebar or similar facility.
• Construction Superintendent experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production operators as they shear, bend, and load rebar to customer specifications.
• Manage annual reviews, coach, and counsel shop employees with regard to employee relations issues and development opportunities.
• Set production requirements based on customer needs and ensures the productive flow of material throughout the shop.
• Direct and ensure production reports are completed for each shift.
• Direct interview processes and coordinate training of new shop employees.
• Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensure ongoing safety training for all shop employees.
• Advocates sound business practices to operational processes to supply the customer and stay within budgeting standards.
• Control asset utilization and resource capacity including inventory management (Raw materials and WIP).
• Meet or exceed financial and safety targets (KPIs, output, Labor, Safety, Quality, CS Service, Costs, Culture, and regulatory compliance).
• Performs other duties as assigned
