Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. invites applicants for a Fab Operations Technician/Clean Room Technician. You will produce high-quality semiconductor products in a cleanroom, loading/unloading wafer equipment and performing inspections while following strict procedures and safety standards.

The role requires 18+ years, a HS diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.

Position Summary

In this role, you will serve as a Fab Operations Technician/Clean Room Technician producing high-quality products for our customers.

Shift: Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:55 am to 7:10pm.

Role And Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines in a cleanroom environment.
• Load and unload wafer production machines (microchips).
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure correct procedures are completed.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration, Empowerment and Growth Mindset.
• Ensure proper gowning procedures and safety standards are being followed at all times in the area.
• Maintain and communicate in a positive attitude.
• Be punctual to ensure crisp pass downs between shifts.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• The willingness and desire to learn and grow.
• High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Effective organizational and planning skills.
• Previous semiconductor industry or manufacturing experience always a plus.

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the facility.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• The employee will be required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, face mask, nitrile gloves, and safety glasses).
