Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. is seeking a Fab Operations Technician/Clean Room Technician to produce high-quality semiconductor products in a cleanroom environment. The role involves operating machines, loading wafer production equipment, and performing quality inspections.

The position requires adherence to gowning and safety protocols, a willingness to learn, and punctuality for shift handoffs. The Wednesday–Friday (week 1) and Wednesday–Saturday (week 2) night shifts run 6:55 pm–7:10 am with a

Position Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a Fab Operations Technician/Clean Room Technician producing high-quality products for our customers.

Shift: D Shift: Wednesday through Friday in week one, and Wednesday through Saturday in week two, from 6:55pm - 7:10am. This role offers a 1 5 % differential.

Tool Area/ Module: Diffusion

Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned machines in a cleanroom environment.
• Load and unload wafer production machines (microchips).
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure correct procedures are completed.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration, Empowerment and Growth Mindset.
• Ensure proper gowning procedures and safety standards are being followed at all times in the area.
• Maintain and communicate in a positive attitude.
• Be punctual to ensure crisp pass downs between shifts.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• The willingness and desire to learn and grow.
• High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Effective organizational and planning skills.
• Previous semiconductor industry or manufacturing experience always a plus.

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the facility.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• The employee will be required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, face mask, nitrile gloves, and safety glasses).
