IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Senior Semiconductor Fab Architect for our Albany, New York office. You will work independently on projects, oversee the design process, and serve as a technical expert on specialized Fab design challenges.

You will supervise project teams, coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines, ensure code compliance and GMP cleanroom standards, and participate in client meetings and proposals. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with 8+ years of office experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with NAAB accreditation (B.Arch).
• Experience interpreting building programs and codes for complex Fab projects.
• 6+ years in semiconductor or fab facilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead or support design across architectural teams and projects.
• Ensure drawings meet company and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Review construction documents and manage project scope changes.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design write-ups for client meetings.
• Ensure GMP cleanroom compliance and ISO classifications.
