Job summary

Celestica, Inc. in Tucson is seeking a Sr. FAA Electronic Engineering Technician (2nd shift) to perform highly complex tasks for production, assembly, repair or modification of products.

Work under general supervision, with opportunities to guide others and to help develop test procedures. The role may involve training and advising colleagues on defined methods. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electrical hardware engineering, be able to interpret test failures, possess analog/linear circuit

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in electrical hardware engineering.
  • Interpret test failures on panels and troubleshoot to root cause.
  • Knowledge of analog/linear circuits including signal conditioning and data conversion.
  • Troubleshoot to component level on circuit card assemblies under varying conditions.
  • Advanced solder certification and ability to pass soldering tests.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, test or modify products per procedures with sound judgment.
  • Lead hardware anomaly investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop test methods and potentially train customers on procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and managers on production/testing methods.
