Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Dallas is seeking an RS AMT IV A&P to perform aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on avionics, electrical, and mechanical systems. A&P license and a high school diploma or GED are required, with at least 6 years of aviation maintenance experience.

The role is second shift, full-time, with up to 25% travel. You will ensure FAA documentation compliance, quality standards, and safe operation of ground support equipment, while coordinating with other

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Second shift work capability required.
6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).

Responsibilities

Perform required maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components including airframes, engines, landing gear, and control systems.
Coordinate with inspection for FAA compliance and document requirements.
Complete work orders, sign-offs, and shift turnovers timely.
Ensure work meets quality standards and correctly tag customer property.
Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
Oversee use of special equipment for removal and installation of major components.
Coordinate with other departments for overhauls or repairs as needed.
Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops and aircraft areas clean.
Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and company procedures.
