Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Plano, TX seeks a Senior F5 Load Balancer Engineer to act as SME for large-scale financial initiatives. Deep expertise in F5 Networks and VMware AVI, plus enterprise networking, application infrastructure, and security, are required to lead design and integration of load-balancing solutions.

You will own end-to-end designs, create high- and low-level documents, manage capacity plans, and coordinate with bank teams, LOBs, and external vendors.

Job Summary

Looking for 10+ years of experience candidate with below responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior F5 Load Balancer Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert supporting complex, large-scale financial institution initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in F5 Networks and VMware AVI, along with a strong background in enterprise networking, application infrastructure, and security. The engineer will lead the design and integration of load-balancing solutions, defining best practices, standards, and frameworks while collaborating closely with internal banking teams, lines of business, and external vendors.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience delivering high‑and low‑level designs, implementing and troubleshooting production environments, and providing Level 3 support for critical services.

Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Perl, Java, JavaScript) are essential, as is the ability to understand full application flows across underlying networks. This role also includes ownership of end‑to‑end documentation, capacity and threshold planning, workload management, lifecycle management of load‑balancing platforms, and participation in feature enhancements, certifications, and vendor engagements with F5.

Key responsibilities

• Background with network scripting and programming
• Considered a SME for load balancing specifically F5 Networks and VMWare AVI
• Strong network background including engineering, design and troubleshooting skills
• Strong network and application security background: understand application flows and underlying networks
• Programming and scripting knowledge including Python, Perl, Java, Javascript
• Lead and design application infrastructure integration framework, outline best practices and standards
• Participates in project calls and works with internal bank groups as well as LOB to gather detailed technical requirements
• Responsible for High Level design as it pertains to load balancing infrastructure and changes
• Responsible for Low Level design (configuration details, hands on experience is required) for load balancing
• Able to perform implementations or provide necessary details to handover to implementation team as required
• Provides Level 3 support and direction for production related issues.
• Responsible for documentation of end to end load balancing design
• Establishes capacity/threshold management plan and details for Work Load Management
• Works with external vendors (F5) for chronic issues, bugs, feature enhancements
• Participates and provide guidance for new feature enhancements, code and certification
• Helps with lifecycle management of load balancing product set
