Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled aerospace technician for the F-35 modification and heavy maintenance program. The role is based near Hill AFB, UT, with required travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, use precision instruments, fabricate detail parts, and perform assembly with attention to safety and quality.

Candidates must be a US citizen with interim clearance and willingness to travel >50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals, and technical orders.
• Ability to locate aircraft positions by station, butt-line, and waterline from documentation.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify aircraft locations using engineering docs and orders.
• Fabricate detail parts like shims, brackets, doublers, and plates.
• Operate drills, riveters, calipers, micrometers and other tools.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS F-35 locations as required.
