Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking a skilled F-16 Avionics/Electrical/Environmental Technician III to perform depot-level modification, upgrade and test of aircraft subsystems at Shaw AFB. The role entails inspecting, testing, modifying, and repairing avionic and other electrical systems such as radar, radio, navigation, and power systems.

Primary duties include using hand tools, following schematics, calibrating systems when required, documenting forms, and interfacing with program and customer

Qualifications

• Experience in avionics or electro-environmental maintenance.
• Strong understanding of avionics/electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Modifies, upgrades, inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs aircraft avionic and electrical systems.
• Inspects components for defects and accuracy of assembly.
• Tests systems under simulated or actual operating conditions to verify performance and airworthiness.
